World’s top dragon sailors have once again entered for the BMW Dragon Grand Prix Germany.

Upon closing date on May 31, 2014, 45 dragons from 8 nations are going to compete for the title of the BMW Grand Prix winner Germany. The entry list is on the official www-site of the Segelclub Kuehlungsborn: www.segelclub-kuehlungsborn.de.  

This year’s reigning European Champion and current leader of the World ranking list, Lars Hendriksen (DEN 138), as well as the winner of the World Championship in Weymouth last September, Klaus Diederichs (GBR 758) and the winner of the Gold Cup, Markus Wieser (UAE  7) will be on the starting line.

For the second time, the BMW Dragon Grand Prix Germany 2014 will take place at the seaside resort Kühlungsborn from Sunday, June 15th to Wednesday, June 18th 2014.

Race management and organization on the water is in the hands of the Segelclub Kuehlungborn (SC-K’born).With an open and unrestricted sailing area in the Baltic Sea, short distance to the race area and perfect logistical infrastructure Kuehlungsborn offers also the optimal conditions for the participating dragon sailors.

Start of the first race is scheduled for Sunday, June 15th 2014, 11.55 h. Results and press information as well as photos are on the official website . ML
